Hoe zit het met ongewenste nesten en ‘verantwoordelijk’ zijn?
Dit was op geen enkele manier een aspect en is echt een non-issue voor San Diego.
We online in een gebied waar geen zwerfhonden rondrennen, laat staan honden in hitte. Veel honden worden in uw huis gehouden als huisdieren en worden in het openbaar aangelijnd. Het zou voor mij egoïstisch zijn geweest om Remy te castreren om ‘ongewenste nesten te voorkomen’.
Het had anders kunnen zijn als we ergens anders hadden gewoond, maar het verantwoordelijke ding om in onze situatie te presteren was denken aan de gezondheid en het welzijn, evenals de beste interesse van onze eigen hond.
Maar voldoende van mij.
Remy recupereert goed en verrassend genoeg is het relatief eenvoudig geweest om hem stil te houden. We kunnen echter niet wachten tot hij over een paar dagen opnieuw kan rennen!
